Jailbreak could mean something to an average person cause if he doesn't want to buy the game he could just download it and play.(It has to be an older game but still)

To give you an idea, since finding Backward Compatible / 80GB / PS3 models (ex. CECHA01, CECHE01) with a low firmware in good working condition is becoming more and more 'Rare' prices can be high.
For example, I just recently ordered a working PS3 / CECHE01 / 80GB, with only the power cord, for $200 USD. I verified all offers at eBay at that point and many cheap PS3 were on high Firmware (downgradable via hardware flasher). If you find a good BC PS3 model as cheap as $100, that is a Rare find, and possibilities that it has been reflowed, fixed, etc are high. Many cheap BC PS3 are for repairs as well, meaning that they will have missing BD-Drive, HDD, Internal Ribbon cables, etc... SeeYa!
