Arrow Bitcoin(s) (BTC) Sharing / Discussion Thread

Hi, it's Apprentice Janitsi here. I created this thread concerning BTC Currency and hoping it stays OPEN.

If you're completely out of idea what is the purpose of this thread, there is nothing more recommended than reading this whole thing out. Here are some links providing you all the required/needed information for getting to know with and using Bitcoins (BTC).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin (At firsthand it is logical to check out this page.)

http://www.libertariannews.org/2011/...istory-of-man/ (Very helpful!)

BTC Banks:

http://www.flexcoin.com/ (Most recommended, World's first Bitcoin Bank, has discount award for those who use transaction)

https://bit-pay.com/ (Paypal-like Bitcoin bank. More difficult and time-eating to register and use because you'll have to activate lots of stuff like: ID, passport picture upload, etc. But very recommended)

https://easywallet.org/w/7pL3snyeLzKhNz7qpyHrvU (Medium security, The URL is the key to your Bitcoins. If you lose it, there is nothing I can do. The secret URL you are provided with, is not stored on the server.)

BTC Exchange Links: (legal)

https://bitmarket.eu/ (Trusted)
https://mtgox.com/ (Trusted)
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Trade
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=5.0 (user provided Exchanges)

!!Sensitive Information!!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hidden_Wiki (This is the source for you how you can use BTC to access some illegal stuff via Deep web, I won't provide you with any links concerning any of that stuff, so you'll have to find out by yourself)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tor_Browser (READ THE MOST of it, this is the browser you'll be NEEDING while joining the ''DARK SIDE of the internet'')

Interested of free Bitcoins? Here are some links:
(Most of them work but some are very slow to transact BTC to your bank and can take up to few hours or even +1 day but don't worry there is plenty of them and you can search more of them from Google.)

http://mycryptcoin.com/
http://freebitcoins.net/
https://freebitcoins.appspot.com/
http://dailybitcoins.org/
https://coinad.com/
http://bitcoinpyramid.com/

Bitcoin Mining/Pools:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Category:Mining (All the information you'll need for mining/mining pools)
http://www.bitcoinplus.com/ (0.00002381 BTC payouts with pretty slow transactions, depends.)

You can find more mining links just by using
Google.

Used to mine on my system using my GPUs and it still went a bit slow. Wasn't worth my time. It was a good idea but, just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Did it for a month or two and I don't think I got one bitcoin :P I know it takes time but, that amount of time is too long

That is right, for months i've been trying to Generate bitcoins with mining/mining pools aswell with a decent GPU but only getting unsignificant number of BTC, and due that i would recommend to save money for buying actual Bitcoins. Well atleast i can tell you that i checked my Hardware comparison and still having too bad GPU.

ive just done a quick estimation after the current round ended

this is with a 6850 O/C from 775 to 940mhz giving me now a steady 240mhash/s

reward 0.00314915 BTC after 00:57:40
1 BTC = 7.02374506 GBP at current exchange rate

in 24hr i should earn around 0.07BTC and around 2 weeks for 1BTC unless we get lucky and solve fairly quickly

ill let it run for a week and report back

the idea of a new currency, uncorrupted by governments is brilliant although the longevity of it could be questioned

I was also reading a while back that the amount of bitcoins that can be theoretically generated is a finite number.

Meaning that mining will come to a halt at some point in time. How far away that is, I don't know. The ideology behind this though is great.

The mining pools are your best bet if you don't have a *****in processor or gpu's. But it will still take you a while to get anything. I believe that when I mined with both of my GPU's (dual nVidia 8800GTXs) I was getting about 55 mhash/s/ Not too great at all....

Plus, you eat electricity :P If you're off the grid on solar energy that's wickid!
