if i get a ps3 on 3.55 fw with no bluray drive can i run a cfw on it or will it just go into an update loop?

yes you can run cfw but make sure you download a no blueray pup or make one by running 3.55 cfw through mfwbuilder and apply the necessary patches.

yes this is kmeaw 3.55 cfw with patched blueray. yes you can run file manger and all other apps as well eg mutliman etc.
