My kid formatted the HDD on my ps3, I have to re-install everything but the problem is both my USB drives crapped out on my recently and I'm tapped out of cash atm so I can't immediately replace them.

All I have is a SD card and for some reason the package manager won't detect packages coming from the SD card slot, am I **** out of luck until I get a USB drive?

Or is there another CFW (like rebug which I currently am not running) that will detect packages from all memory slots?

don't you have something where you can put the sd card in and then connect via usb? like digital cameras, some mp3 players etc...

You could also buy a usb memory card adaptor,they are pretty cheap.

yeah my usb stick and external hdd both crapped out recently, since my house isn't grounded I'm guessing the wrath of god short circuited them when they were plugged in to the computer.

I'm tapped out completely, have to wait till tomorrow then (which is payday)

Had to fix alot of things in the house and pay bills, so that last check was gone the same day I got it heh.

By the way guys I have a CECHA01 model, so it has a built in sd card reader.

Thing is like I previously mentioned, package manager on COBRA cfw doesn't read the SD card slot for info, It only does the usb slots and internal HDD.

I even tried using the browser to download files, but it wouldn't let me save them to the HDD (god damn pos).

How old were they?

My kid is 2 years old (turned 2 in may).

I honestly have no idea how he was so precise, he did it when I went to go take a leak and he was roaming the house unattended.

If he wasn't 2 I swear he did it on purpose so I could stop playing games and play more with him instead...his initials are B.A.D. after all

If you can pickup or borrow a USB memory card reader like this to atleast get a ftp on the ps3, you'll be good. I have the same one and the PS3 sees my miniSD via this.
