Ah, the memories of reading through the court case info. Like I said before I already read this stuff and know Sony's and the claims against them. But I am still skeptic on the exact reason due to someone's "claims" or rumors or the supposed info spread by mysterious "insiders" (which I've yet to see). I'm not flat out refusing the believe anything, but my mind isn't swayed from one thing to another easily. It does make sense, but so do a lot of other things that turned out to be false.

The facts so far is you base your "common knowledge" on other peoples claims and circumstantial evidence without any sort of proof. Anyone can file court papers and say whatever they want and people good with manipulating the truth are good at mixing fact with fiction to come up with these rumors suddenly turned truth because "they make sense". So I am inclined not to believe your claims.

Are you really taking the defense's statements as fact? If you're taking part of the case as fact then the verdict by logic you must conclude is also fact therefor Sony's prevalence is the fact - not what you're claiming (in this line of thinking, of course).

Sure, this is true, but taken totally out of context as the Tweet was an accident from someone to originally Tweeted the code to him and he accidentally re-tweeted (I think that's the term, I do not use social networking) it. This is a prime example not to take anything said in that link or otherwise as solid proof - not matter how much sense it makes. It's the defenses job to make it "make sense".

In fact it doesn't and you completely missed the point of my post.
I was just saying that it doesn't matter what kind of evidence i would have provided because, as you stated, you have already done your "research" and from the start you weren't going to change your mind about the facts unless presented with a world-recognized solid proof(something you know full well that can't possibly exist for this kind of thing).
And even if i presented you with something i consider reliable enough to be called solid evidence it won't do any good with you since you will just say that since you don't know my sources it can't be trusted.
Might as well have been talking to a brick wall.
The perception thing was just an advice for you because if you don't become a little bit more flexible with your thinking you will become hated very easily on this forum and flagged as a troll or a flamer.

Then you've misunderstood me. I am open to anything that can contribute to your theory, but before I start going around stating a theory as fact I want to have some evidence that is isn't just a theory.

Become more flexible? You mean change my mind based on popular opinion or are easily swayed by propaganda and misinformation? If I'm going to be hated for that then whatever. I don't go around cursing at people, posting obscene pictures, calling people names and stating they are stupid because they don't buy into a split second discovery. I find that most people in most settings will change their mind way too easily. So hate me all you want for not buying into things without asking questions first.

You have your own opinion and I have mine. Both are shaped by different reasons, but no matter how much either makes sense or how many people agree on the popular opinion they are only opinions so neither of us are right nor wrong as long as neither tries to pass off something that is uncertain as fact.

The information i presented you aren't theories and have already been verified by other knowledgeable people but i imagine that since you don't know those people then you will just say that the info can't be trusted.
So trying to convince you any further by presenting evidence that "you" can't verify will just be a moot point.

I never said that you should buy everything that people say without verify their credibility first or that you shouldn't ask questions(that's not flexibility, that's just plain foolishness) but if you do ask a question at least make the effort to not dismiss every answer as "not reliable enough".

Too bad because i do know that what i said is a fact(thanks to my sources, and yes my work is related with the industry so i know a number of them) and there's no uncertainty in it, but can you say the same thing about Sony "official" statements?

I think there's nothing else left i can say to you so i will just end this discussion right here and now, it's your choice to believe what you want, just try to not dismiss everyone else words just because you aren't informed enough or you miss some key info(or better yet you don't have the right contacts).
