Hi guys just bought my first ps3 slim jailbrake today but i dont know what to do to this like how to put some games to it, it has an external drive of 250 gb and it has some games, but i dont know how to put games in there, im seeing irish manager in game tab on the ps3 screen, can some one help me to start my great expirience on my new ps3 slim,do i need to install multiman to copy games in it, and is it safe to install it? sorry still a noob on ps3, thanks in advance guys and Merry christmas ^.^.

hey merry xmas, yes your best to download and install the latest multiman, then you can copy games: backup/copy your games straight off bluray disc to your ps3 hard drive using multiman and then play off the harddrive without orignal disc...
or if you have some ps3 games downloaded on your computer (from internet etc..) copy them to usb memory stick or usb external hard drive and then copy them to your hdd0:/GAMES folder on your ps3 using multiman, and then they will show up in multiman ready to play...

no chance of bricking to install Multman, I suggest you to install MM 4.14.00 Full version.

I was wondering about this to. What do you use to apply cheats in game? Like NitePR CoderPR etc. I have online for my PC but not for ps3. (Shared Wi-Fi which when playing ps3 takes up to much memory. And I tend to glitch out of game ha-ha gotta hate slow mbps)

I'm def installing multiman now since my games tend to get scratched easily.
ALSO I assume you may copy files from your ps3 to an external Hard drive? I have over 50+ PSN games I downloaded and don't wanna lose them if I lose my PSN.

Any nice/awsome homebrew suggestions would be AWSOME basically lmao

Just installed Multiman 4.03..i guess im on an old version...ill just upgrade this to the 4.14...next thing to do is to test this for external cuz...i only using internal hdd atm, just 1 question guys.. what folder do i create on my external to put my downloaded games in it? and how will this work? if i plug my external hdd into the usb then i go multiman it automatically detected my downloaded games on my external hdd? thanks in advance again guys for the great informations and tips.

nope it just shows on my system tab that im on 4.31..but the seller that bought the unit says cuz he updated it to 4.30 v2.03 problem solved guys...

But i have another problem here, cuz im baffled with the spliting of games that has more than 4gb+ size, my example is i downloaded the playstaion allstar battle royale and it has more than 4g plus but not by much and it played in my external hdd wihtout spliting it, now i downloaded onepiece pirate warrior and it has 8 gb, my question is do i need to split this game now? or the 4gb+ size limit rule only go for the 1 file of a 4gb size not a example 8gb wiht lots of small files but it has no single files morethan 4g+? hope you guys understand my question, thanks in advance and more power.

Yes, fat32 formatted drives cannot have a file of 4gb or larger. You can have a folder with a bunch of files smaller than 4gb inside of it. And that folder can obviously have more than 4gb in it.

So if a PS3 game is 8gb, it does not mean that you need to split anything. If there is no file larger than 4gb in it, you don't.

You can check this compatibility list, to see what games have a file that needs to be split.
For games that contain files larger than 4gb use PS3Splitter to split the file for you.
