Sounds like a reasonable Idea but I couldn't play any Region A/C Blu-Ray's on the offical Firmware 4.xx.

I already decided that I'm going to buy a Codefree Blu-Ray Player and leave the PS3 alone for now.

Even if he did achieve what you mentioned chances are he would have the same issue that he is having right now. If Math did have a BD playback fix on his DEX then he probably got the files needed from an older firmware like 3.55.

Many of us know math has his full test unit the DECR-1001 i think he has not sure. So yeah most likely he has the keys cause they would be easy to obtain.

I wouldn't say easy....maybe easier. Besides we all know how hard he trolled the PS3 scene. He claims he did it all...but if you had a real DECR or DEX would you really use it to watch BD movies on...LMAO

He bought so he could basically do anything he wants with his ps3 and once you got that it's extremely easy to obtain the keys and stuff. So it wouldn't surprise me if he has done it because if i remember KaK said he bought one.

I have the BD fix you were talking about. It has .self and lv2diag files and some other files, but I dont know how to use it on my DEX 4.11

So you can lose BD playback or the DEX BD emu function.... wow what a tough decision. This is the reason I am still on CEX firmware. Anyway I hope you guys work it out I will continue to use my PC as my BD player.
