I have a 4.21 PS3 CECH 3008B console and I know it's not downgradable to 3.55 as of now, and i also know that there is no CFW for mine but it's a pleasure to be here in this forum getting the updates I am very much passionate in rooting mobiles particularly my droid mobiles and so eagerly looking forward to kakaroto's PS3 4 jailbreak updates ... can some one explain what's this true blue and dongle thing in PS3 ??

TB dongle is DRM infected sh!t and its not needed anymore. Duplex cracked their DRM. You will be able to play all TB patched games for free in the coming days/weeks... But not on your 3k series ps3.

There is no hack or dongle for anything higher than 3.55.

true blue is no good for you either, it allowed newer games on 3.55 and it is now redundant thanks to duplex cracking it

kakaroto is not making a ps4 jailbreak
his aim is to allow homebrew on ofw

Can you pls explain this homebrew thing? is it like giving the cfw 3.55 the stuffs required to be on 4.21 as ofw gets updated.. like a update to the hacked consoles to cope up with new games?

Home brew is like emulators and home made games or apps. Not to do with making 3.55 the same as 4.2x

it's my pleasure to be here I also do have a fair knowledge about how stupid those youtube videos which claims 4.21 jailbreak possible with .pkg files which could actually allow people to play demos only :D that's when a person told me about this great website and so I am here reading posts for the past few days before posting

also I have a noob question and so pls bare that, mine is a 320gb hdd and incase if I replace it with a new one means will I be able to install an older firmware?

Nope. changing the HDD wont allow different FW to be installed.

Nothing is going to come of that, he's all but said it himself. The people who he needs to help him aren't going to. That's a 100% no questions asked dead end.

If you're interested in jailbreaking your PS3 this side of the 21st century, then get rid of the one you have and buy one that is 3.55 hackable. Best of all, no optimism required
