my console got bricked 1 week ago,and i am about to give up.
when i was trying to write the flash for DEX,An error happened,then i turned it off
and it never boots up anymore.
i think the proble must cause to the flash is broken. now i even cant enter the FSM
then i bought an e3 flasher,and try to restore my original flash.bin. but i found there isnt
any tut about how to restore the flash by e3.
and my console is fat,i even dont know how to install the e3 flasher.

If your PS3 is a fat it most likely is a NAND equipped PS3. E3 flasher will not work on NAND equipped PS3's only NOR equipped ps3's which are 2008 and later.

Because the firmware is already corrupted it is most likely not recoverable, you would need a good working nand\nor backup and copy the encrypted files to it like metldr etc.

@Alex1997 what model is your ps3? If you have a nor console, then you can use the e3 flasher to keep the ps3 on while you flash the bios to it. You need to install the e3 flasher first. There are plenty of videos around, just search. Once you take the ps3 apart and insert the e3 clip, you then have to solder a wire from the sbe on the clip ribbon to the nor tristate on the motherboard. Then use flash fun mode to flash the bios, assuming you do have some good bios from that console.

You will have to byte reverse the dump, with flowrebuilder and rename it to bkpps3.bin.

But do what @Bigbones87 said first.

Hopefully you have a nor model. I think you would of made sure the flasher was compatible with your model, before buying?
