Yeah. You will definitely need a sata station for dual boot. Doesn't have to be their sata station, but a sata station none the less.

You can unbrick, but it is better to not brick at all. Unless you are like me and trying to learn from the brick. I bricked 2 consoles 3 or 4 times each to play around with ways to fix them. They are both working today. But you should know what you are up against if you plan to do that because if you don't have valid dumps and you write over your per console data, it's game over

No. What is there not to get by the words "per console data?" It means it is data that can only be used on your own console, not anyone elses.

And the term PERMAbrick. It will turn your ps3 into the most expensive paper weight ever.

If you write bios from another console the outcome will be Grimm. It could make your usbs not power up, system not turn on, amongst other things. As long as you have valid bios from your console I BELIEVE you can reflash them and fix it. A PERMAbrick is when you have flashed over the per console data of your nor and DON'T have the bios from that console or valid bios from that console.
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* Basically your ps3 doesn't know how to be a ps3 when you write another ps3s bios to it. |

I just received my e3 flasher today(standard version) from dealextreme.
It luckily is a real one and not a clone, it cost 57.99 with free shipping and they even gave me an e3 linker! Shipping took 13 days in total. |
