convert 3.56 to 4.20 DEX factory and play new games TUTorial (help me)
Good day to all hackers ps3 scene ... Today I Dogertyboy after long days of thinking came up as possible (before nevozvozhny) downgrade to the factory firmware 3.56
how to translate izvetsnaya console DEX we need to make metldrpwn exploit the unique keys for pulling out METLDR / / / console and is known to the factory firmware 3.56 - who can not let go to 3.55 - also have metldr 1 as 3.55 and below .... which lends itself to Exploit For this, we need two boxes 1 - 3.55 CFW OtherOS 22 GB + + for most exploits and 2 - 3.56 which we want to translate in DEX do all the standard instructions to start OtherOS install 22 GB + + 3.55 for console install Red Ribbon then remove any flasher ProgSkeet or E3 Flasher - dump from 3.56 console - went out and throw metldr folder meltdrpwn - which is located in your home directory home/ps3 - a Red Ribbon / / / on the idea of getting the keys will help us create a patched NOR - for back fill in 3.56 console .... to continue through the Recovery menu we could put there 4.20 DEX / / / / the only problem I have is that exploit metldr - for some reason he compares native metldr so on which is an exploit - and creates a key file - fully scored zero - at home metldr - sript functioning properly ... as an option - a friend of mine suggested (if the unit is to change the native NOR 3.55 to 3.56 with the right metldr - to pass the test ... then without turning off the machine - pour over NOR 3.55 / / / / are supposed to be properly taken the keys of 3.56 and the old firmware 3.55 will remain in place (not tested) my question is how to remove the check ... to exploit the native metldr metldr or as a 2nd option can there be hot-swapped NOR 3.56 and then again at 3.55 how do you respond Syscon? will not write to his 3.56 minimum? or whether there will be Brick with all of this .... |

But you cant generate the eid0 key on a 3.56 console.. so how will you change the target id from CEX to DEX on the 3.56?
Are you saying dump the 3.56 nor, use PC to generate a metldr pwn? is that even possible? I really dont understand mate

even then exploit metldrpwn - does not need a computer - you need a script metldrpwn, metldr, ps3 and Linux - what does a computer then? You do not seem in the know dude ...
change cex to dex - I could use cex2dex and pour it back into the ps3 with e3 flasher |

if you post in your native language, others may be able to help more as the current translation seems to be confusing

I think he's suggesting dumping the nor from a 3.56 factory console and extracting metldr1 (the version we have keys for) from it, using metldrpwn on a ps3 running linux to get perconsole keys for the 3.56 dump, then getting a >3.55 nor backup, and resigning that to use the 3.56 factory perconsole keys, and reflashing it to the 3.56 console. Converting his 3.56 factory to run lower than 3.56 firmware. At least that's what I got from his post.

That sounds like a good idea. I just didnt understand a word of the OP.
If this works it will be amazingly useful. could it possibly even work for 3.60+ metldr with a flasher? Has it been attempted? or did the op say he couldnt get it to work

No clue if his idea would work or even if that's what he said, and afaik all 3.60+ consoles would have metldr2, so there's nothing that can be done about them atm.
