How the hell do i open a .SSH file? For Editing??

Hey whats up guys.I've been learning some pretty interesting things about consoles,pc games etc
That what brings me here today.I see you guys are very intelligent in the sony ps3 console field so i've decided to join and communicate and learn.
I have a few things i would like to share with you guys about some projects that i am working on.
1 is the Nba Live 09 for the PS2.I noticed that they did not make a release for the PC which sucks. So i've decided to work on a project where i can use some of the PS2 files to merge into the eariler series such as 08, 07 etc.

2 That gonna be a big problem because it seems all of the files are in another format which can not be changed by the tools i use for the pc version.
I'll give a quick example.
NBA Live 08 files pretty much are laid out the same but end different
Nba Live 08 files end with .FSH
Nba Live 09 files end with .SSH
now the thing that gets me is this. What tool will i be able to read the PS2 files .SHH files and Convert them into .FSH format
i need to extract and view does anyone here know of a useful tool that i can use to carry out the rest of my production on my project.

If this cant be done i understand but i did read upon something saying that it can be done using a xbox 360 disc and those files can be changed.
But i think the tool is more useful to me and less time efficient for me as i would have to hunt down a retail copy of the game.
Anyone have any suggestions or tips or links they can point out to me.Im a fast learner and a good listener so if you could explain it quick to me so i dont take up a bunch of you guys time would be a big help to me.
Thanks and im glad to be apart of this community as well as the others i have joined and that has had an impact on my skills.
Please help if available.

Well this was a thread at the top of a quick google search.

http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5547

Looks like others have been there before you...

Well in all honesty, at this stage (we're in 2012 after all), your only chance will be to find something that is already out there.

Forums like this are frequented by mostly cretins, you won't get any help on your niche project here.

A quick google for "ps2 ssh files" bought up a fair few results...have you searched through that lot?

Yes i have. I'm mainly looking for tools that allows me to look inside of the hidden data
I need to extract files and convert them to the format my tools use but no tool that does that for me yet.The tool i use for Live 08 allows me to do cool and unique things. But hey thanks anyway I've seen the older threads of attempts but if i could find a useful tool I'm sure i could put it toooo some awesome use!!In another thread i seen they said that you could do something like this with Xbox 360 files and i have experience working with those as well. Thanks again wish me luck man i'll post back if i can get things together.
