Sorry about the slight off topic, I am just wondering can we convert PS1 game to PKG format? I am kinda surprise that one has done it. I mean, I am fully aware that PS1 title are in PSN and we can DL and install them in CFW. But what I mean is existing PS1 disc games, copying to PC and converting it to PKG and install them in XMB.

The main reason is about the check for the file iso bin edat. One tool to decrypt was release fews weeks ago and Sandungas made nice documentation about this file on the wiki but there are still fews things to be done before it s possible.
After that, probably the same tools used on PSP can be used for creating our own ps1 games.
It s probably the same problem about the minis and psp games.

@DEFAULTDNB , that video was nice, i don t understand if it s really working or if it was an idea to do.
But Bubles games.. i think it s possible to do manually from CFW.

@Ada Love Lace apparently it is really working, any PS1 game you download but dont install on PS3, can be transferred to vita.

I don t have VITA to test but from what i remember, to have bubbles games you can found infos on the wiki:

It s PP category and there other table to know the required parameters on SFO.

For the install part, since it will not be from PKG but from internet, there are a way explained on the Sandungas top rated thread on Hax (but when Sandungas explained it, i admit to don t have "liked" it because i didn t thought about that and i was wrong about PP and the bubble theory)

If it s "easy" as i think and if i was the lucky owner of PS VITA, it s something i ll try for couple of hours. One other problem might be the PS3 and the FW min the PS VITA is expecting (the video did not tell if the PS3 was on 4.20 or around but most likely)
But for that s also there are some solutions.

I just hitted the like button, because Sony has to change their ways and understand something that's very simple:

1) Vita has a poor game catalogue
2) Vita is Life
3) They suck at Latin
4) They manage to **** even more things up!! what kind of sorcery they use?!!?
