If you on DEX this is how you can go back on CEX but only tested on NOR machine.
You must be on DEX CFW 3.55
1.Install multiman ver 04.04.03 (20120722)
2.Use your original NOR dump flash_stor_35500 and rename it to my-original-cex.EID0.NORBIN
3.copy my-original-cex.EID0.NORBIN to usb and plug in console
4.go to multiman and navigate in file manager: dev_usb000/my-original-cex.EID0.NORBIN
5.Double click on it and you will have 3 questions, must confirm.
6.When process complete restart console
7.Install OFW 3.55 and after install CFW 3.55 on your choise.

Thanks for the tutorial, now mmCM have this version 0.4.05.00 dex does this mean we don't need to change our console to dex?

if u wanna use mmcm 0.4.05.00 dex then you convert to dex because it was made for dex consoles thats why its called mmcm 0.4.05.00 dex , it dont turn your ps3 from cex to dex just but installing it the app

Thanks carldenning, still thinking whether to try convert to dex as there is a lot of advice that this is for dev to convert it as it will brick easier for noob.

You don`t have much more benefits on DEX. I think that you can play more games on cex than on dex. this is reason why i go back on cex. You still don`t have DEX CFW with spoofing so you cant play some games.

dex dont need a spoof and spoofing does nothink for games its only so u dont update your ps3 by accident and with dex that dont matter as u can go up and down fw freely as u like with out a flasher unlike cex

what ever games that can be played on 3.55 cfw can be played on dex and more games on dex can be played than 3.55 cfw . how do u play a eg 3.61+ fw games on cex . unlike dex can play upto 4.20 fw which cex cant . so wrong again lol

For example if you on DEX 4.2 and you want play ie.dirt showdown you cant because this game dont have patch, so you need to downgrade on cfw3.55 and then if you want play ie. wrc2 you cant because you dont have spoof so you need upgrade again on 4.2 and you just downgrading and upgrading console, modifying patches and burn games on hdd. wow this is awesome you spend more time on modifying then on playing games.what you think how noobs can hold with this?

downgrade from dex 4.20 to 3.55 dex not that hard few clicks on the pad and its done . on my dex i got 3 fw stored on the hdd so i dont have to mess about with flashdrives etc like on cex o yeah u can play dirt showdown on dex 4.20 with out a update by 2 other ways

same as before not hard to update just a few clicks and then u can play it . as for moding patches u do the same as cfw 3.55 for 3.60 games sit and wait for other to fix it , fix it your self .so in the end what ever u do u have to mess with stuff on 3.55 cfw the same as dex . but as i said u can play more games on dex than 3.55 cfw

Don't worry i will get a program to write a program to make it change like when you press X it will be CEX and when you click O it will be DEX. Do you think is possible?

So Dex don't need the key or there is 4.21 keys for DEX games?
