im pretty sure i know the answer to this question but i want to make sure 100% before i do this...i want to get the most recent game patches from my ps3 on the most recent fw to my 3.55...so if i data transfered from my most recent fw ps3 to my 3.55 will it update my fw on my 3.55.. im pretty sure it wont but i want to make sure...bc i dont have my e3 hooked up to my 3.55 yet and cant risk losing my 3.55fw... i need a nand clip for it

no it wont update your ps3 and also the e3 is not for a nand ps3 , e3 is for a nor ps3 only

thanks for the help.....i thought e3 sold a limited version for nor and nand you just needed to get both clip harneses?

Well the 3.55 needs to be spoofed to 4.XX FW or 9.99 Spoof.

E3 is for nor But it can be used on Nand, But you need an adapter.

ok awesome thats why i waited and bought the limited version.....do you think you could direct me to a link where i could buy this adapter....or is the adaptor just the clip harness that goes from the nand on the ps3 to the e3 hdd... when i read it downgraded nor and nand i was under the impression that i just had to buy a nor clip harness or nand harness...thanks for the help again
