Is their a way to play music while playing for example black ops?

I thought it was only possible with bootdisc, but I can be wrong ...

Its possible if you edit the PARAM.SFO but that's all I know of

@sandungas is the param.sfo specialist here. I've not found any tut on this yet beside of that thread. You can also wait for an answer of them here ...

Yea you can play music while on any game. But you need to be on DEX. I remember it is on the debug menu, I think you can do it on rebug also.

what option would that be? i can only find "dummy BMG menu". Would that be what you are talking about?

Look on the PS3 dev wiki at the list of debug options or what ever. I cannot remember.

@Ada Love Lace is the best person to talk about this but i'll try to help..

if you open a standard game param.sfo with a hex editor search for DG and highlight the four dots before and look at the numbers, that is the attributes section .. probably starts with 01 replace that with 20 and save, pat yourself on the back you've just enabled background music, try and cross your toes.
