Can someone confirm this for me. What can I do if I install this on my 4.20 PS3? Not sure 'cause it all seems to good to be true if I just hve to install this then I get CFW again. :/

EDIT: Not new. Just haven't been updated on the whole DEX thing for a while.

OMFG noooo you must downgrade with a flasher to 3.55 convert to dex then update the dex firmware to 4.21 and no you can't use a usb stick

I'd also like to know this. I see this "4.21" and that downgrader. I even found a site that has a ofw downgrader for 4.21 ofw that apparently works? I wanted to ask here first if anyone has tried it. I'm obviously not gonna bother with it and end up bricking my system. Course not, that's why I ask. Not to mention the front page links to a list with the downgrader on it.
Which mentions nothing about a flasher being needed.

The only way to downgrade is with a f*cking flasher stupid lazy asses can't read sick and tired of posting this like 5x

Yeah downgrader if you already converted from CEX to DEX. DEX FW won't install on normal Retail consoles only on 3.55 CFW Retail (CEX) consoles converted to debug (DEX). You can only downgrade from 4.21 OFW to 3.55 FW using a hardware flasher no other way around it for now.

I meant with the DEX firmware released can it be installed as we used to with CFW
