Lost 1tb of games !!! D: - PS3Hax Network

well it happend to me, my girl walked by and kicked the hard drive off the ledge and now the computer or the ps3 does not reconize the hard drive. also makes a scratching sound now. does anyone think this can be fixed?

If you have any experience with opening hdds, just check to see if its writing correctly. Most likely not like you stated just reconfigure it and check to see if reading correctly.

Bad luck m8, its a b1tch when that happens. i lost 400gig of psp games i had, just vanished and everytime i try to get into the harddrive it says format now?

it sound like its knackered. if you can connect it to the pc, u may be able to salvage the stuff on the drive, other than that, sorry bud, no idea

Try and take the HDD out of the encasing and connecting it directly to the mobo of a PC.
Else.. and this sounds ****ed... If you have some important files on it besides games... try googling Hdd + freezer or something along those lines... not ****ting you.

ya i have opened it now and its sounds ****ed. this thing was a piece of ****, it only hit on the carpet.

i do have another 1tb, but **** thats a lot of games to transfer again.

i feel your pain m8....ive got over 260 ps3 games on hd and i know if i lost them i would be gutted....if you live anywhere near sunderland you could pop in and say hello...cough cough

these are backups of my original games...cos i dont wanna sound like a pirate

Yeah talk about hours maybe days of transferring but like I said there is always computer shops
