HDMI stopped working? Same with component AV cable?

I don't know why my ps3 acts like this, but I tried almost every solution I found and I can't get this to work. I tried with different hdmi cable, different components cable, different TV and tried the same cables with different console and everything works perfect. I know my ps3 works for some reason because I can get to safe mode (the one you get after the 2nd beep with the 5 options) but nothing happens.. I even tried a different hard drive but still nothing! what can i do?

Did you try: When turning PS3 on hold down the power button for 5 seconds until it beeps, then release and see if your cables can be reset.

Does the LED change from green (on) to yellow or red or any combination of those?

If you can see recovery mode then it isn't a problem with ps3. I would say try it with a different hdmi coward on a different tv, and then try RCA on a different tv. May help, may not.

Since you can go to recovery mode you can try re-installing whatever firmware is on the console.

Perhaps your TV is not accepting the resolutions the PS3 outputs unless its ultra low (recovery mode)....
