problem with updating from 02.09.02 to 04.00.01

tried to update my multiMAN 02.09.02 to 04.00.01 everything goes fine it install fine but when I try to open the multiMAN little black ball with sunglasses it get stuck on the little black ball and freeze my ps3, i've tried 2 times and each time it did the same thing, Am I missing something?

You cannot update from 02.xx to 04.xx. You must get the full pkg for the latest multiman version.

Just delete old one and get latest and instal thru pkg folder

Like everyone else posted previously. Simply just DELETE multiMAN and install the latest FULL version for CEX.

I Had the same problem a while ago, I had to switch to kmew 3.55CFW. now it works

thanks everyone your help are really appreciated. So I can just delete my multiman 02.09.02 and install directly multiman 04.05.00 (full) and it will work?

BTW I'm on OFW 3.55 not CFW 3.55 could it be the problem? just asking

I tried to delete the 02.09.02 and install 04.05.00 with the link you provided but same thing happen it still freeze on the multiMAN logo do I have to install cfw 3.55 kmeaw, and I want to know if there a chance of bricking the ps3?
