Brick after updating to OFW 3.55 .HELP URGENT!!!!!
Hi,
I was on Rogero 3.55 CFW . I wanted to install KMEAW CFW . So i tried to install OFW3.55 first (directly from USB,not on recovery mode) .During that process ,it failed . Now whenever i try to turn on the ps3 .It shuts down in 5 sec completely. Red light is also not appearing .I press the standby button ,the red light appears and again i have to press to turn it on.It eventually turns off . Please Help |

i have e3 flasher....
can you guys please tell me what to do ..!! i know i have to solder the SBE with NOR tri state. !! and using the combination 100000. have to reflash with backup i have a blackup of the flash withh rogero 3.55 CFW.. will it work.. please tell me if i am missing something!! |

you need to solder a wire from the sbe on the e3 clip ribbon to the nor tristate on your mobo. Then you put switch 1 up on the flasher. Then you should turn the ps3 on. It should turn on and stay on now. This will allow you to reflash the console with the bios you made.

Be careful soldering. If you get the ribbon to hot you will mess it up, but even more important, if you get the nor tristate too hot, you will cause it to unseat from the mobo and then you will be in big trouble.

Low watt pencil tipped soldering iron, like between 10 and 20 watt. This question is very opinionated. Some people will say more, others will say less. I am not a soldering master or anything. This is probably a better question for someone else, or research it yourself. I used a 30 watt, which is too hot, but it worked. I just had to be really careful.
