The update.bin file is NOT updating the e3 flasher.

I get no blue LED lights showing any updating is going on.

I only see blue lights when I turn on the PS3 and all switches are down.

Switches are set as: Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up for the update process.

But I get no blue progress lights.

I cant find a tutorial that addresses my problem, they all just say 'the blue lights should just come on'

All help appreciated!

Okay, make sure your Micro SD card is in FAT 32 format and you are using latest update.bin file. Please still remember to check your Micro SD card is inserted correctly and all switches are in right position.

What is your current original firmware in you PS3 console?

Where did you get the e3 flasher? Are you sure it is not a clone? Look to see if there are numbers 1312 on the flasher board itself. If so, not good news.

if you look at this sight ,there is a video on doing the whole process on using the eflasher,,it is pretty indepth,,i had the same problem try to find a sight on how to use one
