Red Dead Redemption now...

So im trying to play Red Dead Redemption again, i downloaded it and i transfered it to my External hd and when i launched the game, it returns to xmb. Then i searched about this and i had to FTP the game to Internal so i did it and it's the same when i launch the game nothing happens and it returns to xmb with no error. What can i do to fix this ?
