sorry GraVoX, but their are big diffrences between those sites (specialy crunch) and this site.

Many sites are only from money makers, crunch ripp money from the users.

i am a member of many ps3 sites...but i have to admit i feel more at home here at HAX..i find the people here more genuine and friendly....i spend most of my ps3 forum time here...if you dont believe me look at my post count on other sites...it is next to nothing compared to HAX...some people just don't know a good thing.

i may not ***** & moan about other sites cos mainly im a happy friendly guy.
i understand people have different points of view & try to respect them.
the one thing that i will not stand for is people who hold the scene back with DRM devices...that try to squeeze money out of us,when a free solution was always available.
if DRM dongles ever raise there filthy head again i will be the first to rally the troops in the DRM dongle wars.

@harryoke - There was no free solution available. The coders who had the solution kept it to themselves therefor it was not free, but many implied it should of been free. However, implying that something "should be" does in no way make it so. The only solution was to buy a Dongle if you wanted newer games. Their cracks weren't public until recently - now it's available and for free. You can look back and with all those "should/has-bins", but you're just pissing in the wind.

I know for a fact that all of the console scene sites and even mid-range geek sites that get popular stories from the "scene" sites have a lot more in common then they do not. Gravox said it best - that is if you can grasp what he's saying. There are some guiding principles to each site that one site may not follow and therefor leads to disputes between sites such as lust for money, lust for power or lust for fame. Some people like that sort of thing, some don't. That's why there is more then one site. "winning" or "better than" or "best" is a personal perspective and opinion. We all have our own; well, the ones of us who can make up our own minds and not play follow the Lemming.

Free solutions mean not paying, as far as I can see, no one has paid for any of N0DRM's eBoots, nor have they paid for anons eBoot, that's pretty damn free to me.

Um, that didn't make much sense? I don't understand what you tried to convey. I never said people have to pay for these new cracked eboots (though I'm sure lots of users are happily making money selling pirated games that use these free eboots, but that is another issue all together).

I can shorten what I wrote above.

-- The entire Dongle solution was not free during it's limited lifetime. Even if methods existed to play eboots without them as they were not made public therefor they were not free.

-- People implying that the TB eboots were "free" during the Dongle days were misguided due to the statement above as if they were free they would have had them. They didn't. Someone held them in their own hands and didn't share. That's not free in any way, shape or form.

-- These cracked eboots that have surfaced are FREE. No Dongle's attached.

in fact the "reason" why you are making money , they care. I don t have proper Business English to give details and don t know the recent or current fiscal and legal framework in US but i m pretty sure there are also the tax shelter where you live.
I m not speaking about tax havens but conditions to avoid, reduce etc.. in fiscally advantageous framework. That s why you have specifics lawyer and company for tax and accounting, and that s why you have so much famous people being benefactress or when you don t mind about public image, you buy arts.

But that s not the good example, the good example is the small businesses done by the wife described by someone (sorry i ll edit the post with user name) because in some country you can make money and no direct tax to paid (and still on legal framework) and even to reduce tax normal citizens will paid indirectly as tax (irrc, it s VAT in US,don t know remember the rate)

There are kind of famous quote around that area, "if you paid tax, it s because you are poor"or something supposedly funny (but it s not for me).
The US democrat campaign against the republican is (regularly) about it( middle class paid tax, rich will avoid even more if the republican win)
