ok i did that but everytime i eject the usb and put it into the ps3 nothing happens then i checked it on my computer and the file is gone?!? i did it there times..even extracted file to desktop then dragged it into upgrader..showed it was there, ejected it agian, plugged into ps3 and nothing happend..took it back to my pc and file was gone

That's normal for the file to disappear. Put the file in the upgrader folder. The light turns blue. Take the card reader and put it in the furthest rot USB port on the ps3. Remove power from the ps3 completely, or switch the switch on back to off. Then plug it back in or switch it back on, then hit power eject quickly. It will turn on, the card reader will turn red then blue then turn itself off. @jpinjpin

its shows drive executing then runs some numbers up top and shuts itself off after 5-10 seconds...i saw it said passed but when i turn it back on it runs again and shuts itself off

@jpinjpin what are you talking about. You got into fsm then put the remarry USB in and it started to remarry? Or are you still trying to get into fsm?

i put in the e3 card reader it turn on then off. while off i put in the usb with remarry files and it loaded to big black screen with CBEH in the right hand corner and Fps in the left with numbers goin up and down..below that it says ***drive init*** then shuts off after it says pass

@jpinjpin ok that is good news. Now this is important. You want to take the USB back out, then turn the ps3 on with nothing in the USB ports. It should boot up and have the red factory service mode box on the screen at the main menu. Now you want to put in a blue ray movie and play it for a minute. Make sure it is a blue ray movie and not a game. Try e newest blue ray you got. After it plays for a minute or two, now ou can shut off the ps3. Now you put fsm exit lvl2 diag on a USB and put in the right USB port. This will exit fsm.

awesome working so far...God thank you so much i thought i was F*ckEd for a minute there.. ok now where can i get fsm exit lvl2 diag? or is it the same lvl2 that i originally put on the usb with the remarry files?

@jpinjpin your welcome. Glad I could help. The lvl 2diag you used is not the same. Same name. Different file. The one ou had tells it to initiate files from the USB. The one you need is the one that tells it to exit fsm. I can upload it for you if you would like. I think plyerkp420 has it in his downgrade files on his downgrading guide. Let me know if you can't find it. It is usually in a folder called step2. Did you get the movie to pay back and was it a blue ray movie?

F-ing amazing..wow and it works like charm..now one more before i let you go i mentinoed i had one on 3.42 firmware w/ the same problem and you said "For the 3.42 one, I recommend you going to 3.55 noBdnoBt pup and then do the remmary process. You can do it from 3.50 but I couldn't ever get it to work." Where do i find the 3.55 nobdnobt pup and do i just use the pup in a PS3/ Upate/ pup file then go to system update and run it like i would any other pup update?
