I´m the only one to think this a stupid price for it? If they are looking an equivalent for Xbox 360 4GB, they miss the target by a mile...

Not quite sure how much Xbox 360 4GB costed at launch, but an Xbox 360 250GB + Mortal Kombat is priced 219€ on this portuguese website called Worten.pt.

Normally games and consoles in Portugal have rip-off prices compared to other countries, but just in this case, they have a good deal going on.

I already have an Xbox 360 S 250GB Glossy Black (with Beta Dashboard 2012) plus PS3 Slim 250GB since 2010 and so I'm not rebuying the same consoles again, it's pretty much a waste of money. Unless they broke somehow.

I have a Fat 80 GB and a 60GB retro model.

I has thinking to buy one to put my current HDD in it and get rid of the 80GB Fat.

I also have a X360 250GB.

i´m not sure the current price of the 4GB model, but some time i did see it in PT for around 120€.

I can´t see what target market Sony are expecting with a 12GB model...

Aesthetically this variation of the PS3 console is very pleasing. Sony in the past has done little to improve on the looks of their PS One and PS2 Slim consoles, but these model does please the eye. I however do think the original PS3 Phat's with the Memory Card slot hatch open looks much better, but at least Sony put some thought into the design of this contemporary console.

What I do find ugly is the removal of the auto-loading drive bay mechanism. You're paying near the price of a brand new Slim or a second hand Phat and you're getting hardware removed this time - like Sony hasn't already shamed the Playstation brand enough by removing software features.

If I had to decide to purchase another PS3 I would go with a second hand "Phat" from Gamestop that sell for $219. I see no point in buying this product.
