So just a couple mins ago I packed my PS3 Slim back to its box since it was only getting dust and nothing else I figured it was for its best to be stored away.

Even if this somehow becomes real, or another CFW comes along, I'll very unlikely get the PS3 Slim out just for that.

PS3 is a fantastic console, I'll give you that but I've lost interest. I suppose in the near future when I purchase a bunch of games (old used games ) for the system I'll start using it again.

A cheap TDT device actually does more (Video Compatibility e.g. MKV + USB Reader + Card Reader + Digital TV) than PS3 does, take that $ony.

@LiteSoul it said somewhere on RED POWER's original post about 3.55 > 4.21 FW, the translations at least for this part seem stable.

I surely don't want to be a downer but nor go around the internet giving false hope neither (like those losers from YouTube screwing noobs into 4.23's demo mode).

@LiteSoul , it has been stated from the source of this news that anyone who has downgraded and is already on 3.55 will be able to use it. If you are on 3.6x and higher without a downgrade available then further patience is needed for a solution.

/just an understanding from what i have read, i although believe this to be real but will join the folks who jump ship once this is debunked

Negative - because they have lost/abandoned all hope, I guess. And joined with the rest of the band who wants you too to join with them.

There is always hope. If you can't find one, why not create one... that is if you have the skill to do so. If not then probably that is the time we too will join the group. Then why bother playing on a PS3 when you already have a high functional PC? Only thing is I would be missing the part of playing Final Fantasy XIII and NIER or Armored Core on PS3.
