Dex Rog 3.55 v2, dev_blind, write to flash help please
Hi all,
My PS3 is at Rog3.55 v2 dex. I want to install the ultimate TV app and need to copy a file onto the dev_flash. On previous cex firmware I used dev_blind, enabled the relevant setting in multiman, and copied the file over. On dex when I try to use dev_blind it reports an error telling me that I need to upgrade from 3.55 to a minimum of 4.10. If I skip the dev_blind step and just use the multiman 'enable write to flash', I cannot see the dev_blind dir in multiman nor with an ftp connection. Any ideas? Thanks for reading. |

the latest multiman 04.05.00 cex version has zip functionality, where you can doubleclick on zip files which get installed automatically. this also supports devblind write function if you put the file name this way:
"PS3~dev_blind~blabla.zip" for example you want to write to devblind folder "dev_blind/vsh/resource" you put name: "PS3~dev_blind~vsh~resource.zip" and if you doubleclick in mm on this zip it automatically writes to devblind without enabling it. and i have repacked the mm dex 04.05.07 as cex pkg with that reload self. this way it works on 3.55 mfw dex a bit better and even the dex2cex flash function works. if interested look here. though dex mm on 3.55 dex isn't needed !!! Thanks Both.
I used the install by "PS3~dev_blind~blabla.zip" method - and all good. Thanks for your time and help. |
