rogero uses the normal nor patch files to patch the nor localy on the pc doesnt it? im sure it does

on the wiki:-

i did try the rogero patcher on the e3 before i spotted the above and as the downgrade didnt work for me after using rogero nor patcher i asumed it was this reason.

if i am wrong then i am wrong just dont u2 slap me

and i will have to look into why it didnt work for me the next time i get another E3 flasher

Oh, I see now........that was put on the wiki before Rogero released his Nor Auto-patcher and it hasn't been updated since.

Rogero uses the same patches as the E3 patcher but integrated into his own tool which not only can patch for the E3 flasher but also the teensy and Progskeet as well.

I had some issues when I first started using Rogero's patcher as well but all of my problems were my pc related issues and not the auto-patchers. I hope that you do give Rogero's tool another go because it makes the patching process so much easier.

I always use Rogero nor auto patcher now. I really like it. I even changed my guide from the one key downgrade to their patcher.

I have probably done 20 or so consoles with it.

The only problem I have had is, sometimes it shows a blackscreen instead of the connect controller screen.
But so does the one key unlock way.

Remember, have all switches down when flashing a patched backup. Unless you are bricked and need to use flash fun mode.

i will have to try it again & see where i went wrong then as you both have it working with E3 then it is obvious i did something wrong
