Bluray cogwheel question - PS3Hax Network

Hi,

So I took apart my ps3 phat 40 gb (CECHL04) because it didn't read or recognise any discs. It didn't even show a loading screen when a dics was inserted.

While taking it apart, I did something very stupid. I took of the top plastic part and 3 of the little cogwheels fell out. And I can't find any pictures or videos of where to put them.

Here are some pictures I took from the cogwheels.

Other then that, I replaced the lens in about a minute. But I've been sitting here staring at those tiny cogwheels for over a half hour already.

And also, the PS3 isn't accepting any discs. meaning the lens doesn't spin or nothing happens. Before the cogwheels fell out, the drive did actually manage to take in the discs all on it's own. Is it possible that my BD board is broken?
Is there a way of telling of the BD logicboard is infact broken? i know you can load up homebrew to check this (when the screen turns black) but i can't since is my second ps3 and it's on 4.25OFW.

I would appreciate any help on this. Pictures of how the mechanism works would also be very much appreciated. I know i'm an idiot

****, I had this problem too while trying to replace a laser once. Not really sure but if I remember correctly they all go next to eachother under the white "wing" to the right in your pics. Attaching to the cog in the lower right corner.
You should see 3 small "pins" where they should be placed on top of.
If your bd board is broken, no psn games will work either so that's a good way to check.

The weels needed to go under the with plastic on the right

Since i reasabled the PS3 it also reads disks again i just messed the eject mechanism up when replacing the lens.

I got a fully working CECHL04 4.25 CEX console now for normal use. And a 3.55 CEX console for....
