First download PS3 ProxyServer from here: PS3HaX Network - PS3 Hacks - Downloads - PS3 Proxy Server Notice that you need .NET framework 1.1.4322. You will get it from here: Download details: .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package

After install go to directory where you did install it and run it. You will see following screen:

Then fire up your PS3 and go to: [Settings] -> [Network Settings]

Select [Internet Connection Settings]

Now it will ask you to select a setting method. Take Custom.
Don't care about questions and go all way to the Proxy question. Select: Use. Now put in same IP Address as you did in PS3Proxy and remember to put same port too!. After this press OK and try to connect back PSN. You should now see text on Logs section back at PS3Proxy program. Now PS3Proxy is set up and working. If you got questions feel free to ask.

ive used ps3 proxy before but now im getting this error. ive tried uninstall/reinstall but it doesnt work. can anyone help.

I can't get this to work
as I use windows vista, i've downloaded the vista one
and nothing :/
I put my lan ip address and then I push start button, it becomes stop (normal)
Then I go on ps3 and change settings and finish, but don't test the connection. I go to F@H and try to download, don't do anything, the internet stops...
Im using a wifi connection. This only works with wired connection? what can be the problem?

o haha thats not goo probably the way you ps3 routes it what port is it set to (dose u pc block the port?)

You should also add that if you do not want to add your IP address every time you open Ps3 Proxy just open "PS3.ProxyServer.GUI.exe.config" with notepad and change the "X" to your IP.

By changing that you do not need to input your IP every time.
