hello.. i'm try to downgrade my ps3 with e3 flasher. i follow this guide. http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=33989
now i get screen: " reconnect ps controller". i shut down console. Put psp in to right usb port. start ps3 jig. Now i start my ps3 and i pressed start+eject.
psp screen:
Challenge received: 00 01 FF FF 2E 02 01 EE 6D 78...

Done.
but ps3 not turn off. i get a same screen "reconnect ps controller"

I heard that the PS3jig only works on PSP's 5.50 firmware. I tested here on my PSP 3000 6.60 PRO C and it didn't work, indeed. However, on my E3 Card Reader it works fine.

^^^ What he said.You need to downgrade your psp to 5.50 to make it work.

go back to players guide and post your question there and direct the question at player by putting his name like this:-

i personaly have had no luck getting the psp to work like this but player has so he is the best one to ask about this plus its his guide you are following so you should stay in his guide and post the question there not create new threads.

It doesn't work for everyone it seems. If you researched it more.

5.50 Gen does seem to be the firmware to use, but still some have issues.

If it still doesn't work , then find another downgrade dongle. Simple.

you said that you shut it down after the connect controller screen. Do you mean you turn it off or actually removed power to the unit altogether? You have to switch the switch on back or pull power cord, then plug it back in and do the power eject.

i cut all powers on the ps3 but it won't turn off automatically... now i us3 psp 5.50gen-d, but it won't work

The best advice I could give you is that you should buy a E3 Card Reader..

Everything els is hopeless and alot of headache

Just buy a E3 Card Reader.... TRUST ME !
