hello just wondering if i can jailbreak/flash my ps3 system .... i wanted to know which is the latest firmware that can be modified so i can play my backups ? i have the phat ps3 .

also i do not want to buy extra equipment .. i just want to install the necessary firmware/software

Look at the top of the page and there is your answer. If you are passed 3.55 then you have no choice but to buy equipment to downgrade. No there isn't a software downgrade.

.....and yet another person fails to notice the big banner at the top....No I am not insulting the OP, since almost every single new member asks this question instead of opening their eyes.


Still dont understand how people miss that considering it is right next to the login tab.....
