I got my brothers YLOD bc 80gb PS3 for free in August and I waited 2 months before I even tried the oven fix. Worked like a charm and luckily I had some Arctic Silver thermal paste left over from my PC build 5 months ago.

I also got a 2010 Sony Vaio laptop from my bro free as well that had a smashed screen but otherwise worked great.

Pulled the 320gb hdd from that beast and threw it in my PS3 and now I have about 50+ games on the HDD all free from my brothers past PSN purchases and luckily he has a year of PS Plus so I been downloading free games for the past 3 weeks lol.

Man, if they never come out with a 4.25 jailbreak I will still be good on free games for at least till August of next year when the Plus subscription of his runs out lol.
