fw 4.25 how to jailbreak and downgrade
hi fellows,
i'm new to the ps3 hacks. i have a old ps3 fat with 4.25fw.... i checked with minverchk that it is possible to downgrade to 1.00 I really dont know where i could downgrade or even jailbreak it... what should i do and where to look... thanks for everything guys! |

Since it is an old fat model that can go to 1.00 ofw, then that means your console is a launch day fat which is NAND. Because it is NAND, you will need a progskeet or teensy++ or some other hardware flasher other than e3 flasher. The e3 is for nor consoles only. If you don't want to purchase a flasher and go through the whole downgrade process, then tell us where you are from and someone on here can offer you the service for a fee.

It would take some who knew what they were doing about a day turn around time. So how ever long it takes to recieve the ps3, 1 day later they would be sending it back, and then however long to ship it back. Hard to say in your country. Costs is another thing I can't say. In USA the going rate is around $50 pkus shipping both ways. Or yu could try to buy a ps3 already Jailbroke

i ment how much it cost to buy the stuf i need and do the all things that need to be done to jailbreak :D

Well you will need a progskeet and if you want the solderless clip you will need that plus an adapter, a fsm dongle. A soldering iron and solder. All in all, around $100-$150 for everything you need. Closer to the $100 mark if you already have soldering iron and wire.

Buddy, I advice you to buy a hackable brand new ps3... those are still selling!! I've bought one last week at FYE (For Your Entertainment) for 300 bucks. It came with ofw 3.21. So i think you should look for a new one.
Here are the moddels you can look for: -Playstation Slim 120 GB -Playstation Slim 250 GB (I bought this one...). Pay attention, this is not the ultraslim model. -Playstation 3 Black Ops Bundle -Playstation 3 Killzone 3 Bundle All those consoles were made in 2010. Also, ask if you can check the manufacturing date, that is usually located at the bottom of the console, if you want to make sure. But i don't think it's necessary. You just have to look for those particularly models. Good Luck!!
