Need help going Dex!!
My PS3 is cech 250*B.
it came with OFW3.40, earlier i was using cfw 3.41 & now m on CFW 3.55. i ve Never Downgraded my PS3. (so no need do dehash i guess?) question is : ll i be able to keep my gamesaves intact by switching from cex to dex??  <edit Also, ll i be able to play games from internal hdd after updating to DEX4.21?? edit/> Last edited by kayy; 10-13-2012 at 07:50 AM. |

You should be able to backup everything before you convert.
And no, newer games (3.60+) need to be build using PS3Gen onto an external drive. I use A 32GB USB pendrive for that. All older games can be played the same way as any CFW as long as your on a 3.55DEX firmware with peek/pokeand Multiman. Istkamel's Dex firmware works fine but there are others. |

on 4.21 dex you are not able to play all older games, but you can downgrade fast. They are very well 3.55 dex mwf around here

@hellsing9 or any1 so, if i convert to DEX3.55, i can play older games (recently patched) from internal hdd& other games (like RE6,PES13,Borderlands2) from external hdd??? correct!?!?!??

in DEX 3.55 You can play older games/All games That Fixed For 3.55
DEX 3.55 is 1:1 With CFW 3.55 but for Playing new Game like RE6 you must install DEX 4.21 in DEX 4.21 you can not play older games /All games That Fixed For 3.55 So you must install DEX 3.55 Again Last edited by Nicolas19; 10-13-2012 at 04:08 PM. |

You can update via the XMB and store the common FW on the internal drive for easy switching.
From 4.21 to 3.55, you have to use the 3.55 downgrader pup and then install a 3.55 with P&P All you stuff will stay. |
