But yes, you shouldnt confuse this with the dongles, if this does what it supposed to do, then it isnt drm, and hopefully it continues to work with future firmwares or be updated for free.

This thing sounds like a modchip, so it's hardware that is REQUIRED if order to run an exploit.
DRM dongle were hardware that were NOT REQUIRED, and the cfw is set to look for the dongle in order to work, if not detected it would not work.

But with all things, just wait and see what happens, again.

I think it is possible to switch the drive between a 4.xx and a 3.55......

so you can rip the key out of the 4.xx drive..... and then switch it back...

No this is not possible that any of us know yet. What you would end up doing is putting a drive on a board that it isn't married to. That all you would accomplish.

Now if the figure out a possible way to dump the key from the drive like is done with 360 drives then 3.55 wouldnt be necessary. I am still skeptical this thing is even real, but we still know very little

We (all) will have to manage with another type of scenario if they found a way to 4.xx.
