Yes there are numerous ways to play ps2 games on ps3..

but the true questions remain are

1. are they backups running from the HDD? internal or external
2.can it be a pirated backup.

I got my account terminated because I uploaded DEMOS DEMOS of a game that was out, what the hell, the point of demos is to share them not keep them private. Bunch of pricks, that was legal.

Now I use HotFile which is a lot better despite the files being deleted in 90 days.

Yeah this is my third account there xD but i have backups, so no problem.
