One thing that did suddenly hit me. I wanted to add that the ripper is integrated, but if we cant interface the device to a PC, and OFW can't run unsigned code, then how does this "integrated ripper" work?
One fact I can add is that they make a shady ass video. They make it appear as though there is no BD drive attached, but you can clearly see the ribbon cable going behind the PS3. All they show was Borderlands 2 gameplay on 4.21. If there was no drive attached and the PS3 was running with only the emulated drive, then why even bother having that second cable hooked up. Also how do we know they arent playing the game from disc? I think everyone will agree the video shows nothing other than an extra piece of hardware between the motherboard and BD drive. I will add this as fact for now until they can learn what a real PoC video is or until they can show us some definitive proof. Between this video and the whole "integrated ripper" I am a bit more skeptical than I was before. I would actually find it somewhat funny if we were all being trolled. Edit....after a little thought I made another post in regards to the product in question. Here is what I posted and TBH I will probably not post on the subject anymore because I personally am seeing a fake (although I could always be wrong) Just copy and pasted what I posted in the other thread: After watching the video again I am going to say fake for now. They may have a device being worked on, but it wasnt shown in that video. OK Im sure we have many members that have either a wasabi or xkey in their 360. Now please correct me if I am wrong but should a remote, or some other device be coming off of that blue circuit? ![]() Now I know I said not to compare it to the xbox version but an ODDE is still the same in basic concept. Nothing is coming off of that board to choose an ISO to mount. Also even if a remote is unneeded then that would mean that the device can mount ISOs from the XMB. If this were true then that means that they are using either an psuedo signed homebrew on 3.55 or they can run user made applications (homebrew) from firmwares higher than 3.55. The video said 4.21 and was running Borderlands 2. We know they arent running any unsigned or psuedo signed code on 4.21 and let me ask one more question. Where is the HDD plugged in? On 360 it plugs into the remote that allows selecting your ISO. Dont tell me that it is plugged into a normal USB port on the PS3 and magically works. With the xkey point 6 in the above pic goes to another device that allows you to connect a USB HDD (full of ISOs) and also a display and controls that allow you to pick the ISO. Wode (wii ODDE) also had a similar setup as the 360 ODDE. Also have a look at the last post I made: Right I understand that. Wasabi is the same way, but I cant see where an HDD is plugged up, they dont show any HDD, the dont show the mounting process, the intentionally tried to hide the BD drive (yes I still think it is behind the PS3. The video showed absolutely nothing to prove that the device is real. So if I take my ps3 half way apart, put a big piece of paper over the left half with a cable running out the front, hide my BD drive from view, and run a game without showing you anything that couldn't be done on OFW would you guys believe me if I told you I had an ISO loader? Wow memories because this seems like the ferrox and paradox crap from the beginning of the PS3 days all over again. Even when xkey was in the prototype stage, and when wode was still in prototype stage at least they were able to show some concrete evidence that the devices did indeed do what they claimed they did. Running Borderlands 2 on 4.21 (according to the video, who really knows) is not evidence at all and shouldnt be treated as evidence. If it comes out good, if it doesn't, well doesn't bother me because I personally wasn't going to get one. I was simply trying to get my point across that not everything can be free, and there is nothing wrong with paying for a device to modify your console as long as it doesn't use reDRM or other practices that are just plain wrong. Believe it or not most pirates do have some type of ethics Here is a picture with the remote in which I was talking about ![]() Ok now it looks complete but I am still having an issue here..... it appears the remote is plugged into something right below the power supply, but what is that plugged into? Also why didnt they show all of that hardware in the video. I am going to make a 4.25 MFW video since apparently all I have to do is run a game and people will believe it.
