Possible to transplant NAND chip?
So i recently destroyed my cpu chip on my 3.55 in an attempt to replace the thermal paste under the heatspreader on it. Is it possible to transfer the NAND chip (which I guess holds the golden firmware, and not performed by me obviously haha) to another Ps3 or is it a bunch of other factors that are locked to that console?
Basically, would a NAND swap be enough to get a working 3.55 ps3 again? |

Ps3 bios (firmware) is specific to each console and if you change the nand chip You will not do anything because then ps3 will not work (error as a brick) if you change the CPU you have to replace the SYSCON and NAND or NOR flash because they are united together in the ps3 system.
