Hi Everyone

I currently have a PS Vita, which I have been using with a 4gb memory stick on the South African PSN Store, but due to the exagerrated pricing implemented as well as lack of content I would like to create a US PSN account. Now I understand that this current memory card is locked to this SA PSN account, after the 1.81 update. But I have recently purchased a 8 gig which has never before been used. My question is' how will I be able to insert this new card into the vita and setup my new psn without locking this card to the SA store. I apologise for my lack of knowledge in advance. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You have to factory reset the Vita in order to set it up with another PSN account. Be sure you remove the old memory card before you do. Then insert the new card and set up the Vita again for a US account. When you want to go back to the old account, you'll have to remove the new card, restore the Vita back to factory settings BEFORE you insert your old card. Any time you want to switch accounts, you have to factory reset the Vita without a memory card in it. It's a pain (I do it with an 8GB and 16GB card that are set up for US and UK PSN accounts). The big pain is anything you by on one account cannot be used on the other. The PS3 let you do this, but the Vita doesn't, which is a HUGE disappointment. If you want to be safe about it, use PS content manager to back up your cards before you start switching accounts.
