[HELP] When I try to open a installed app, it just gives me the black screen

Hi folks.

Today I've changed the PS3 blu-ray drive (the whole kit, not just the lens), and then, after I booted the PS3, whenever I try to access a installed PKG, the screen goes black, and the HDD access indicator stops blinking.

What may be the problem?

(By the way, I'm on Kmeaw 3.55 CEX)

EDIT: I already formatted the HD, reinstalled the CFW, rebuild database and all the stuff that you can imagine...

Did you remarry the drive or just install it?

That's the problem, man! It cannot open any pkg's, so I cannot enter in factory mode to remarry it!

Nope, just the app that emulates it.

My PS3 is a CECHK03 FAT 80GB.

@DEFAULTDNB , can you help me solving this issue?

The CFW used to work perfectly, but when I replaced the old broken blu ray drive for a new one, it just won't open any installed homebrews, I just get the black screen.

(Maybe it broke on its way? I live in Brazil and bought it from Hong Kong. If that's the case, can I take only the lens and replace the older?)

your ps3 will never work right until you remarry the drive, to do that you need a jig or you can try to put your old blu ray drive back in then go into service mode then put the new drive back in and run the remarry process.
