power consumption when atx psu is wired to playstation 3
I recently wired a 250 psu to my ps3 today when bored and from getting help on this site....I am curious about how much a certain setup would consume if I did not have everything plugged into the ps3 motherboard to draw all 32 amps...I googled but didn't see too much about this....I unplugged the cf/pro duo/sd card reader and unplugged the wireless adapter...with the blu ray plugged in and the power circuit board having the reset/eject cable plugging in between it and the mobo,maybe a controller,and av composite if I get it to power up....how much would be drawn from the 250w atx psu? I have a 350w psu plugged into my pc case and thought about wiring it to see what was drawn....anyone know how much power the 250w psu will draw? the 250w psu has 14 amps on the +12v rail but the 350w psu is said to have 20 amps on it's +12v rail after googling the info.
