Talking few question from a noob regarding modd ps3 fat Japanese model CECHH00

hi all

thanx for this great forum

i got ps3 japanese model fat 40gb CECHH00

I would like to modd it

i got few question , i hope u can help me

1_ is it possible to modd this model ? by software

i cant do any soldering or physical way

i mean by software only ???

2_ currently i am using fw 4.21

so i am planning to downgrade first

is this possible ?? or no???

3_is there any thing i have to be careful from in modding of this model ??

or do u encourage not to modd

as i dont want to have bricked ps3

Welcome to the Forums.

You would need a hardware flasher such as Progskeet or Teensy ++ to downgrade to 3.55 or; find someone who can downgrade it for you.

Bricking is always a risk if you or the individual doing it for you doesn't know what they're doing. Currently there is no softmod way of doing so.

so there is only the above ways

which are hardware modification

i was thinking if only software modification

i would do it

it`s so hard for me to do soldering n these stuff
