Ive re-installed the spoofer and I did this because this very morning the system said it was unable to detect my drive and required I format it. After several attempts to bypass this message I had no alternative but to format. After format everything was gone, but pkg install. I even had to create a new username yet, the ****ing 9.99 firmware still resides. I just want someone to explain to me how to go into dev blind and re-install the correct files so that its gone forever.

KaKaRoTo is a very cool dev & you should not say that bud . He is giving advice cause now is the time to do it, before Sony could have tried to interfere/spoil the hen he was working on. So he kept it to himself till the time was right .Now is the time = we have the New Keys ..

Those that have their ps3 bricked from installing CFW 4.21 turn on the ps3 by holding the power button for a few seconds,might help (maybe)

Install the spoof again . Then if it is a pkg spoof & has a uninstaller = uninstall =delete the spoof in xmb if you have that kind =then flash ofw 355 .. My friend had the 999 spoof installer/ uninstaller ,that is something like that i told him to try it worked ..

Don't flash FW from XMB ,always do recovery if you have 999 .. It is safer anyways ..I have never switched CFW through XMB ..I care about my PS3 to much to take chances even if it is safe ,recovery is better .

I re-downloaded official 3.55 and this time it installed in recovery. Having to start all over since I had to format, but its the risk we all take and Im good about it. At least Im back on 3.55 so I can get it all back

Every one should just be patient. Wait for a stable solution. Whats the rush? Its not like the world is ending in the next 57 days according to any ancient calendar.... sheesh.
