I found this the removal of folding @hom e sopport a disrespect by Sony against the project as a whole.

I agree. That was even helping research that could better benefit mankind one day through collective computing. And it would crunch some numbers as well.

Sony only cares about Sony. Another point for Microsoft :D At least they contribute lots to charities. This isn't even a charity and they stop it....just some number crunching for research for Stanford University I believe it was.

I love how the *optional* was removed long ago from sony's side.

What happens if i don't want to update? = I can't play my legit games online.
What happens if i can play my legit games online? = I get mad.
What happens when i get mad = I turn to Xbox360 if not i scream like a loco and play my guitar. (real one, not that **** with buttons).

As far as pirating goes, I dont publicly condone theft of any sort. Although if I own a hacked system and I am offered a "backed up" game I will accept, because I was raised that by not accepting a gift of any kind was rude to the individual offering me the gift.

Well the PS3 isn't the only way to use folding @hom e if you have PC which I'm sure a lot of us have you can still use folding @hom e, but its sad to see something again from the PS3 removed.
