I have one that bricked on 4.21 cfw , but it's not a full brick since it still has usb power and it stays on permanently ( doesn't turn off with beeps ) . It's only the video / audio i don't have . Should i try these ?

Here some method to fix the PS3 CFW 4.21 (not sure if this work for all) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ First you need to know that i really need to heard result even it fail to know exactly what's going to fix it, i have personnaly a CECH 2504B and some of my dev friends as almost the same PS3, i ask them to test the PUP of rogero 4.21 (no one seem to have a problem) not even my CECH 2504B I guess Rogero wanna to release fast before checking really everything, i wonder if this is the same problem i had one year ago with a personnal work anyway if is this one, it can be fix, if it is not see way, i will try to help. First Method to fix the problem ------------------------------- HDCP Encryption HDMI Fix -Turn off everything unplug the power supply cable -Hold the power button on while for 5sec (you should hear one bip) -If it works you should see the Rogero Logo etc.. Second Method if the First one doesn't Work ------------------------------------------- Bootldr fix loader -Power off the PS3/Inplug the Power Cable -Download the Lv2Diag.self here a link http://www.mediafire.com/?tpvau6ikd4xk1dg -Put the LV2diag on the root directory of a USB Key -Plug the PS3 Cable and the USB Key (on the right usb port next to the player) -Turn on the PS3 wait for while until the PS3 turn off alone -When is turned off, unplug the usb key and press the power on button -Check if the PS3 is back Bootldr fix loader FIX 4.21 If the bootldr fix loader doesn't work with the lv2diag from the mediafire.com here my own patched lv2diag for cfw 4.21 (try with it if it doesn't work with the normal one) http://depositfiles.com/files/nwx98rspg Third Method if the first or the second doesn't work ---------------------------------------------------- You need a prepatch 3.55 lv1 PUP (without the syscon check etc..) You need a prepatched lv2diag -> http://depositfiles.com/files/oonlxwqys You need a dongle that include FSM Payload You need a USB Key -First prepar the USB key on your computer format in FAT32 to be sure that nothing come to disturb Copy into the root file of the USB File the Lv2diag First + PS3UPDAT.PUP (Prepatch 3.55 lv1 pup without syscon check) -Unplug the power cable of the PS3 -Plug your dongle with the FSM Payload to the most right usb port -Plug the power cable of the PS3 -Press power on button and fast eject button -When until the PS3 bip and turn off -Now unplug the dongle and insert the usb key (on the same usb port of the dongle was before that) include the lv2diag and the PS3UPDAT.PUP -press power on and wait for while the time that the bootldr load the lv2diag and install the firmware (during all the process from the beginning to the end it's normal that you have a blackscreen ! you should wait until that the PS3 turn off alone, you can see the storage light blinking during the update process) -after the PS3 turn off alone, unplug the usb key plug to your computer and you should find a updater log file, everything is normaly ok, now delete all the file from your USB key (lv2diag and ps3updat) and after delete, copy the lv2diag (the second one) to the root of the usb key -Plug the USB key again on the same usb port and press power on the PS3 -Wait until the PS3 turn off alone -After is turned off, unplug the USB key and press power on back You should see the PS3 back in normal and i see your PS3 in 3.55 Ofw (if the package prepatched lv2diag 4.21 doesn't work, try with the normal one that is available everywhere) here is 2 link (not mine) First normal LV2diag http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?q0cgp3zj3a92rdx Second normal LV2diag http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?tpvau6ikd4xk1dg Please important that you post your result after trying the 3 method, that can give me i idea what is the real problem with the rogero 4.21 CFW The password : *************

The guy talks about a LV2Diag file that works on 4.21 , i knew this didn't exist untill now .
If you entered FSM on a fw above 3.55 you couldn't get out , but could you recover if you had a NOR dump and flasher ?
