Well, I bet 90%+ of hacked ps3 users are using/downloading pirated contents and that's why sony is doing their best to stop that, and for those that want homebrews, there are ton of them on pc, also, there are some cool emulators on the ps3, but, there are not good homebrews on the other hand compared to pc. The bottom line is ( in my opinion) I don't give a ****, I owe xbox, ps3, and wii, and they suck compared to ps2, its just not worth to go into many troubles, and the only worthy thing to run on ps3 is a fully functional linux ( slow progress tho ) and retro games.
