PS3 Blue Screen / FSM Problem!
Hey guys, I really need your help this time.
A friend left me his PS3 that was stuck in FSM (and had a blu ray problem? I don't really know about that), I tried to exit FSM through LV2diag_exit.self but got a blue screen. It has rogero 3.55 CFW (don't know exactly what version). So, I read something on the internet that I have to update to a newer rogero cfw v3.0?? I think. OK, I've downloaded rogero 3.55 v3.5 and kmeaw, on both I get the 8002F271 error on 2 HDDs when I try to install them from the recovery menu. Now... can I enter FSM through a file? Not PKG as I don't have how to run it... Did anyone else had a similar problem? What do you suggest I should try? PS: Also, I think I don't have any image on component (at least I wasn't able to get one...) Is this how a semi-bricked console acts? Can someone help me with a link from a tut on how to enter fsm through an iPod Touch? I have a 3G Last edited by crossbreed314; 12-07-2012 at 01:50 PM. |

Yeaahhh, the problem is that I don't have my jig (a ''good'' friend ''lost'' it). I know I can use a PSP or an iPod Touch (I have the iPod) the problem is now that I don't find any tutorial on how to do it and the necessary files.

So... I found my PS3Break, I entered FSM... tried to update via XMB but after it copies the update into the ps3 it gives me an error (no code). Any suggestions?
Update: Tried to install Reogero 3.55 v3.5 from XMB (FSM) gave me the error I was speaking about. Now If I try to reset the PS3 1st 2 seconds it shows like the update is gonna start (ask for permission, that means I have to press X) but right after RSOD, Same if I try to go into recovery menu, RSOD. Tried the RSOD fix (LV2Diag file) in the log on the stick it says that all was successful but fails to reset. If I reset the ps3 manually then I get no image (on both component and HDMI). I used again the PS3break and now I have an image but it doesn't go into XMB, like I said it appears that it wants to update but then RSOD. Last edited by crossbreed314; 12-09-2012 at 07:54 AM. |
