So I used my TI-84 as a jig, and now the PS3 turns off shortly after turning on... is this a bad sign...? It even said "Done" on the calculator, I go to Google and other people warn not to do this on 3.56 .
Can someone tell me if this guy just helped brick my PS3? Last edited by Shaffakoom; 10-28-2012 at 11:00 AM. |

you already knew that 3.56+ FSM was a bad idea so why do it? his first reply telling you that you should install 4.21OFW then install a CFW over the top of it should have registered with you that something didnt quite add up it seems you "may" now need a flasher but you cant blame someone else for your bad decision why didnt you try to sort out the hdd before doing something so risky? plug hdd into pc open a cmd prompt Type "diskpart" Type "list disk" - get the disk number for the drive we are cleaning. Type "select disk 1" - if the disk is not #1, change this accordingly. Type "clean" Type "create partition primary" Type "select partition 1" Type "active" Type "assign" Type "exit" Type "exit"

Well does the E3 let me exit 'FSM'? O_O
In other words, reset everything to default (with CFW ofc). Last edited by Shaffakoom; 10-28-2012 at 01:43 PM. |

not yet as far as i know....
entering FSM on +3.55 = stuck in FSM all you can do is wait and hope a lv2diag.self is made to work on 3.56 to allow exiting
